Savior For Sale

You know the saying truth is stranger than fiction?
Recently we watched an incredible documentary on Amazon Prime Video, Savior for Sale. It follows the tale of the infamous Salvator Mundi painting that may or may not have been painted by Leonardo da Vinci. You may recall reading about the auction a few years ago at Christie’s in NYC, it sold for a record breaking $450 million. The supposed provenance of the painting, how it was discovered, acquired, and then sold multiple times is INSANITY. Throw in a billionaire Russian Oligarch, shady art dealers and a Saudi Prince and you’ve got yourself an unbelievable story. It was gripping to the end.
