Sundance Staycation Guide

Since we are home bound this year but itching for a getaway, we booked a last minute staycation to Sundance Resort.  We love Sundance for sentimental reasons, we got married there twelve years ago.

STAY

We rented one of their Mountain Suites, we went this route because I wanted a full kitchen so we could eat most of our meals in. All of the restaurants at the resort are open but we didn't feel comfortable eating inside so we opted for patio dining.

DO

Don't forget to book an appointment for yourself at the Sundance Spa. Nothing like a massage in the mountains to ease your quarantine worries.

EAT

We ate at the Owl Bar and the Grill Room. The only downside is you can't make reservations for the patio so keep that in mind. Masks are enforced around the resort and inside any common areas.

Donnie got up early and went fishing one morning, I slept in and read and it was divine. He did bring us back lunch from Midway Bakery on Main and it was incredible. The cinnamon rolls were out of this world.

Hope this inspires you to take a little break for yourself. Even if you don't stay overnight there are plenty of activities you can do for the day. Go on a hike, take the chair lift, get a massage and finish off with dinner on the patio under the stars.
