SOUND OF METAL

With the holiday weekend upon us, I’m sure you’re looking for some good films to watch. First up is Sound of Metal starring one of the most talented actors of our generation Riz Ahmed, he was also in HBO’s Night Of which was incredible. In sound of metal Ahmed plays a drummer who suddenly loses his hearing and is also trying to cope with the loss of his career and livelihood. There were so many heartbreaking yet touching moments, I cried several times. I think this film is rather poignant for this year and all that we’ve gone through. He is absolutely brilliant and mark my words he will be nominated for an Oscar and get my vote for Best Actor.
